The Marrage Ceremony

Our ceremony will be held on the lovely lawns of the Bishops Court at the beautiful Indaba Hotel. It is a picturesque setting that perfectly captures the magic of this special moment.

To help you find your way, you can download the venue map here: Download Venue Map

We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Indaba Hotel is a stunning (and spacious) venue, so you might need a little extra time to park, stroll to the ceremony area at the Bishop’s Court Lawn, grab a welcome drink, and find your seat without rushing.

Trust us—you will want a moment to take it all in before the magic begins.

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Indaba Hotel. Upon arrival, the security team will be ready to guide you to the dedicated guest parking area for the wedding—just let them know you’re here for the celebration of Die Moore Troue.

There are two entrances to the venue:

  • Main Entrance: off William Nicol Drive

  • Secondary Entrance: via Pieter Wenning Street

Both will lead you to parking with clear signage and helpful security staff to assist you.

The ceremony will be held outdoors, on the beautiful lawns of the Bishops Court at Indaba Hotel. We expect perfect weather on the day, but we recommend dressing comfortably and bringing along a sun hat or light wrap, just in case. It’s all part of soaking in the open-air magic of the moment.

We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that all guests put their phones and cameras away once the ceremony begins. We have an amazing professional photographer to beautifully capture every special moment, and we would love for you to be fully present with us as we say “I do.”

That said, you will have the perfect chance to snap a few selfies and group shots at our special selfie mirror before the ceremony starts—so get those pics in early, then tuck your phone away and enjoy the moment with us.

While our wedding is planned as an adult-focused celebration, we understand that some guests may be bringing children.

Children are welcome to attend the ceremony, and we’ve thoughtfully arranged a kiddy care space with a dedicated nanny for the remainder of the celebration. This will allow parents to relax and enjoy the evening while the little ones are safely looked after in a fun and caring environment.

While we can’t require it, we kindly encourage all parents to make use of this option so everyone can enjoy the celebration to the fullest.

A garden Gathering Harvest Hour

Right after the ceremony, guests will have the special opportunity to greet the newlyweds; Mr and Mrs Moore for the first time as husband and wife.

It’s a moment to celebrate the sacred promise we’ve just made in front of all of you our witnesses, our people. Your presence means the world to us, and sharing that first embrace, smile, or cheer with you is something we’ll remember forever.

From there, you will move on to our Harvest Hour in the Bishops Court.

We kindly ask that all guests remain at the Bishops Court Lawns ceremony area immediately after the ceremony for a group photo. This is one of the most meaningful moments of the day, and we want to capture everyone who was there to witness us say our vows and begin our marriage.

This photo will be a lasting memory of all the special people who shared this momentous occasion with us.

From there, we will move into the Harvest Hour to continue the celebrations.

The Harvest Hour is our version of the traditional “canapé hour” – a relaxed, open-air gathering between the ceremony and reception. It features a beautifully styled harvest table, refreshing drinks, live music, and a joyful atmosphere to ease into the celebration.

Yes! And it’s happening early!
We will be cutting the cake during the Harvest Hour, surrounded by music, bubbles, and plenty of laughter. It’s one of our favourite moments of the day, so keep your cameras close and your sweet tooth ready, it’s the perfect prelude to the celebration ahead.

The Harvest Hour will be held in a beautiful open-air courtyard—a relaxed and elegant setting where you can enjoy the harvest table, drinks, gin bar, and live entertainment. We recommend keeping the weather in mind and dressing comfortably for an outdoor space.

Briefly! We’ll be joining you for a toast and the cake-cutting moment, before heading off for our bridal shoot.

We love, because He first loved us.
